Do I need an Apple Pencil?

Kakimichi is built for the Apple Pencil, because the writing movement itself is what makes things stick. You can still turn on finger writing under Settings → Writing.

Which devices?

Kakimichi is an iPad app (iPadOS 18 or later). There is no iPhone version: writing kanji needs room.

Restoring my subscription

On a new iPad, or after reinstalling: Settings → Subscription → "Restore purchases". The subscription is tied to your App Store account.

Deleting my account

Settings → Account → "Delete account". Deleting removes your progress from our servers, immediately and for good.
