The short version
Kakimichi works entirely without an account: your progress is saved on your iPad and nothing leaves the device. No ads, no trackers, no data sold on.
The optional account
You can create an account (with Apple or Google) for one purpose only: to sync your progress across your iPads. Authentication and storage are handled by Firebase (Google). What is then stored on our servers: your account identifier, your e-mail address, and your progress per character (mastery level, number of passes, last review).
What never leaves your iPad: your ink (the strokes you write with the Pencil), the detail of your attempts, and your settings.
The subscription
The Kakimichi Pro subscription is handled entirely by Apple (App Store). We have no access to any payment data.
Deletion
You can delete your account and everything attached to it straight from the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
